Just back from Kansas and the CLE Commission's Provider Conference. It was a great experience to talk with the regulators, board members, other CLE providers, and firm PD staff. The weather was glorious - sunny and 70's. The landscape is green. We got a sporty red car - no convertibles available unfortunately (or maybe, based on my previous post, fortunately?).
Announcing the most sweeping changes in their rules since the original adoption in 1985, the changes focus on four major areas:
- Instructional materials
- Nontraditional programming
- Ethics and professionalism
- Law Practice Management
Over the next several days I'll be recapping changes and the impact these changes will have on attorneys and providers. The rule changes will become effective on July 1, 2011.
